Selene

This powerful necklace was inspired by the center 44.84 carat drusy agate heart I purchased from Anette, a gemstone vendor from Idar Oberstein in Germany.  I fell in love with the asymmetrical elongated heart shape, and the microcrystalline drusy formation (natures glitter!).  The 6.13 carat concave cut rhodolite garnet came next, with it's deep rich red color and unique faceting.   Once I put the two gemstones together the design flashed in my mind, with extra sparkly black spinel and garnet beads (also cut in Idar Oberstein).  The inspiration is a little bit Edwardian, a little goth, and a lot of sparkle, even by candlelight.  All hand fabricated and cast in 14k rose gold, with an adjustable length from 16"-18.5" and a surprise garnet dangle at the back. 

A wearable work of art that will turn every head in the room!
