Who doesn’t love a good fringe!?

I had purchased the diamond top earrings a few years ago, knowing that I wanted to upcycle them in some way… but the large triangular shape was stumping me for some time… Then, when I upcycled some thin gold box chain (too thin for pendants imho) and was playing around with it, I came up with the fringe idea!  I love it when pieces wait for the right time for inspiration to strike! 

I carefully rolled out platinum wire to fit the chain (tiny!).  I chose platinum wire as the platinum is very wear resistant giving the earrings more durability and longevity.  I strung the pieces of chain onto the wire (2 hours!) and then carefully attached that to the earrings.  I also added a 14k yellow gold frame to the white gold pave set diamond tops, to tie the two metal colors together and give it the cohesive look I was going for! 

These earrings sparkle, shimmer, and shine!  Just like their wearer!  

1/3 total carat weight in natural diamonds, SI1-VS2 F/G Color.
