Made with a 14 karat gold and platinum bar brooch, and upcycled Princess cut diamonds, these components complement each other perfectly. The art deco brooch, split in two to become earring dangles, adds to the architectural appeal of the square princess cut diamonds. The diamonds have a combined weight of approximately .30 carats and are classified as SI clarity and GH color.
The bar brooch was created in the 1930s, when platinum was expensive and white gold had not yet been invented, and many pieces from this era were made with a combination of yellow gold and platinum. I chose to keep the yellow gold natural to add a warm glow to these shimmering earrings.
What I love most about these earrings is their effortless look that instantly elevates any outfit, whether you're being whisked away to Scotland or relaxing on the couch with a bag of crisps and watching The Crown. No matter the occasion, these earrings will always be in style.
